Canada is not exactly famous for its contributions to the global cultural landscape- or, should we say that Canada is not as famous as their neighbors to the South: the United States of America. Sure, the United States is home to Hollywood, Los Angeles, New York and Nashville, which seem to be where most movies, music and other cultural lynchpins are created.

But, that does not mean Canada has not contributed in some way. In fact, there are a lot of famous people from Canada that have made significant contributions to culture, the arts and many other factors that have influenced people all around the world.


The only catch is that many people actually have no idea that these famous people call Canada home, or were at least born in Canada but moved onto the United States in search of fame.
